"All tha freaks are on parade..."

Lisa and I took on Bonnaroo this year.  For those of you who don't know what it is I will gladly explain.  Bonnaroo is a 4 day music festival in Manchester, TN.  The festival is on a 700 acre farm about 60 miles from Nashville.  Bonnaroo welcomes about 100,000 music lovers each year.  This is my 3rd year to attend.  Basically you camp in a giant field for 4 days.  They provide porto-potties, $7 showers, and water stations.  They also have a general store and hundreds of vendors selling everything from kilts to crawfish pasta.
This year we got to see Dave Matthews Band, Stevie Wonder, Phoenix, Steve Martin (the actor turned banjo player), Jay-Z, Zach Brown Band, Galactic, Kings of Leon and that's just to name a few.
Here are a few pictures from our adventure.

We were showered, packed and ready for fun!!

Just one of the interesting people roaming along the side of the interstate as we sat in traffic.

That is just a small taste of how 100,000 people get to a farm at the same time.

Almost there!!!!

CAMP SITE

We even had our own potty :)

That's our view from camp.

These guys were playing invisible jump rope.  This is just one example of the title of my post.

Here I am on the ferris wheel.

Off in the distance you can see the main stage.  Look at all the people.  Amazing!

Here we are about to enter Centeroo.  The tents and stages are located here.

This funny looking guy is one of the giant bobble heads.

Below are pictures from the main stage.

Ok, so let me explain this.  This is the Silent disco tent.  When you go in they give you a set of headphones.  Only the people inside can hear the music.  Watching from the outside you have no idea what they are dancing to.  This made for great entertainment!

We had so much fun!  I'm so proud these 2 30'somethings can still camp for 4 days and keep up with the "kids".

Check out www.bonnaroo.com for more information about the festival.
